Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 29, 2026

Welcome to Read Hub (readhubb.com). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of this website, including all articles, pages, and features we publish. By visiting or using Read Hub in any way, you’re agreeing to the terms laid out below.

We’ve written this document to be genuinely readable, not just legally defensible. If a section feels dense, that’s usually because the underlying topic is a bit technical  not because we’re trying to bury something in fine print.

Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing Read Hub, browsing our articles, or otherwise using this website, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you don’t agree with any part of them, the most straightforward option is simply not to use the site.

We don’t require you to click an “I agree” box to read Read Hub like most content websites, your continued use of the site is treated as acceptance of these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, whether to reflect changes in how the site operates, new features, legal requirements, or simply to improve clarity. When we make changes, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page.

We’d encourage checking back periodically if you’re a regular visitor. Continuing to use Read Hub after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Website Purpose and Content

Read Hub exists to publish original articles about books, reading, education, productivity, business, finance, psychology, and self-improvement. Our content is intended for general informational and educational purposes; it’s meant to help you think, learn, and explore ideas, not to serve as personalized professional advice.

We cover a fairly broad range of topics because we believe reading well touches nearly every part of life: how you work, how you manage money, how you understand yourself, and how you grow over time. That breadth means our articles vary in depth and focus, from practical how-to guides to more reflective, opinion-driven pieces. Both types of content are published in good faith, with the aim of being genuinely useful to the reader.

Using Read Hub, or reading our content, does not create any kind of professional relationship between you and us  including, but not limited to, a financial advisory, legal, medical, or psychological professional-client relationship. For guidance specific to your own situation, please consult an appropriately qualified professional.

User Responsibilities

When using Read Hub, you agree to:

  • Use the website for lawful purposes only
  • Provide accurate information if you contact us or submit anything through the site
  • Respect the intellectual property rights described later in this document
  • Avoid any activity that could disrupt, damage, or interfere with how the website functions
  • Use the content you find here as one resource among many, rather than the sole basis for significant decisions

You’re responsible for how you use the information you find here, including any decisions you make based on it. We publish content in good faith and with care, but the judgment calls about how a given article applies to your specific life, business, or circumstances ultimately rest with you.

Acceptable Use

To keep Read Hub functional and safe for everyone, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, its systems, or related accounts
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful or disruptive code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the website’s servers, networks, or normal operation
  • Use automated tools (such as bots or scrapers) to extract content in bulk without our permission
  • Copy, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of our content without prior written permission
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with Read Hub
  • Use the website to violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise interfere with the website’s underlying code or structure

This list isn’t meant to be exhaustive, it’s meant to give a clear sense of the kind of behavior that’s incompatible with using Read Hub the way it’s intended. If we become aware of misuse along these lines, we reserve the right to restrict or terminate access, as described further under “Termination or Restriction of Access” below.

Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, all original content on Read Hub  including articles, graphics, page layouts, branding, and the Read Hub name and logo  is the intellectual property of Read Hub and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.

This doesn’t mean every single element on the site is something we created from scratch. Where we use licensed images, quoted material, or third-party resources, we aim to do so lawfully, whether through proper licensing, attribution, or fair use.

Copyright and Trademarks

You’re welcome to share links to our articles. In fact, we appreciate it, and it’s one of the best ways to support independent sites like ours. What you shouldn’t do is copy, reproduce, or republish substantial portions of our content elsewhere (on another website, in a newsletter, in printed material, and so on) without first getting our written permission.

If you’d like to quote a short excerpt with proper attribution and a link back to the original article, that’s generally fine and consistent with how content is typically shared online. What we’re aiming to prevent is wholesale copying of our work  republishing entire articles, close paraphrasing that mirrors our structure and wording, or using our content to build a competing site without any original contribution of your own.

If you’re unsure whether your intended use crosses the line into something that needs permission, feel free to reach out and ask before proceeding. It’s a much easier conversation to have upfront than after the fact.

If you believe your own copyrighted material has been used on Read Hub without authorization, please refer to our separate DMCA Policy for how to submit a notice.

User-Generated Content

If Read Hub allows comments, submissions, or other user-generated content now or in the future, you’re responsible for what you post. By submitting content to the site, you confirm that it’s your own original work (or that you have the right to share it), and you grant Read Hub a non-exclusive right to display it on the website in connection with the relevant article or page.

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or decline to publish any user-submitted content that we consider inappropriate, unlawful, off-topic, or otherwise unsuitable for the site, at our discretion.

Third-Party Links

Read Hub contains links to external websites  including sources we reference, related resources, and other content we think is worth checking out. These links are provided for your convenience, generally to give you a way to dig deeper into a topic than a single article can cover.

We don’t control these external websites, and linking to them isn’t an endorsement of everything they contain, now or in the future  a site we link to today could change ownership, content, or policies at any point after we’ve published the article referencing it. Once you leave Read Hub, this document no longer applies, and you’re subject to the terms and policies of whatever site you’re visiting instead. We’re not responsible for the content, accuracy, security, or practices of any third-party website.

Affiliate Links and Advertising

Some links on Read Hub are affiliate links, and the site may display advertising, including through Google AdSense. This helps support the free content we publish.

We’ve explained how this works in more detail in our separate Affiliate Disclosure, which we’d encourage reviewing if you’d like the full picture. In short: affiliate relationships and advertising don’t influence the honesty of our recommendations, and any ads displayed on the site are managed by third-party advertising networks, not handpicked by us individually.

Accuracy of Information

We make a genuine effort to keep the information on Read Hub accurate, well-researched, and up to date. Articles go through our own editorial process before publishing, and we try to reference credible sources where relevant claims or figures are involved.

That said, we can’t guarantee that every article is complete, error-free, or reflects the most current developments in every field we cover  particularly in areas like finance, business, and psychology, where information, research, and best practices can shift over time. An article that was accurate and current when published may naturally become less so as time passes and new information emerges.

If you notice something that seems outdated or inaccurate, we welcome you letting us know so we can look into it and make corrections where appropriate.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Read Hub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Republic of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from your use of Read Hub will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located there, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
